Part-Time Teller – Mattapan, MA

About the role
Join Santander’s Mattapan branch as a part‑time teller and become the first point of contact for customers. You will deliver fast, accurate banking services while supporting the branch’s commitment to exceptional customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers, minimize wait times and address their banking needs.
- Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and maintain an accurate cash drawer.
- Adhere to all compliance, risk‑management and fraud‑prevention policies.
- Identify cross‑sell opportunities and refer customers to appropriate products.
- Educate customers on digital self‑service tools.
- Assist with custodial duties, audits and other operational tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and support nearby branches when required.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 6 months cash‑handling experience.
- Minimum 6 months customer‑service experience.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work flexible branch hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Effective communication and listening skills.
