Part-Time Sports Coach at Daycares/Preschool

About the role

Amazing Athletes teaches children aged 18 months to 12 years the basics of 10 sports in a fun, non-competitive setting. The company is expanding and is looking for energetic people who love sports and working with children. This is a part-time position of about 15-20 hours per week, working mornings and afternoons five days a week.

Key responsibilities

• Teach children the fundamentals of 10 sports at daycare and preschool locations in Spartanburg and the surrounding area.
• Work Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; most classes are in the morning and mid-afternoon, other hours may vary.
• During the summer program, hours are likely to increase.
• Maintain a good relationship with daycare teachers/directors and parents.

Required profile

• Available Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and able to travel between locations across Spartanburg County and surrounding areas.
• Experience working with children aged 18 months to 12 years (professional experience preferred).
• Dependable transportation and willingness to travel.
• Clean criminal background check.
• At least 18 years old; able to start immediately.
• CPR certification not required but is a plus.
