Part-Time Security Officer - Incident Reporting

About the role

Allied Universal, a security and facility services company, is hiring a part-time Security Officer in West Palm Beach, Florida. The officer monitors and patrols assigned areas, maintains a visible presence to deter security incidents, supports access control and visitor management, and provides professional customer service. The schedule is day time, Monday and Tuesday from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem-solving.
• Carry out regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter; working conditions may vary by client site.

Required profile

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Subject to a background investigation and a drug screen to the extent permitted by law; licensing may be required depending on state and local law.

Required skills

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
