Part-Time Security Officer, Emergency Patrol Driver

About the role

Allied Universal, a security and facility services company, is hiring a part-time Security Officer Emergency Patrol Driver in Three Rivers, Michigan. The role is unarmed and serves clients in manufacturing and industrial locations. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, keep a visible presence to deter security incidents and provide customer service and communication. The position is paid $18.86 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors and contractors by carrying out security procedures, site policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns and critical situations, following site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Carry out regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, offices, access points and the perimeter.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and contractor access and keep accurate logs and reports.
• Report hazards, facility concerns and unusual activity to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Required profile

• A valid driver's license in line with Allied Universal driver policy (required for driving positions).
• Previous firefighting experience.
• At least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
