Part-Time Physical Therapy Aide

About the role

Rehab United is a family-owned private practice offering outpatient physical therapy, massage and wellness and fitness services across seven locations in San Diego, California. It is seeking an upbeat, friendly, dedicated and results-driven Physical Therapy Aide to join its team and help serve patients and clients. The position is part-time.

Key responsibilities

• Assist therapists in demonstrating and supervising patient treatment progressions.
• Apply modalities as trained and instructed.
• Assist therapists with documentation as instructed.
• Perform opening and closing tasks, including cleaning facilities and equipment, to keep the environment safe and sanitary.
• Take part in staff meetings and events.
• Carry out other management-assigned duties.

Required profile

• CPR certification.
• Completed anatomy coursework.
• Professional communication with patients and co-workers.
• A desire for personal and professional growth.

Preferred skills

• 1-2 years of outpatient orthopedic experience.
• Knowledge of or experience with Applied Functional Science.
