Part-Time Patient Representative

About the role

IvyRehab is hiring a part-time Patient Representative in Northport, NY. Patient Representatives are the backbone of the clinics and work with clinicians and colleagues to deliver patient care and excellent customer service. The clinic provides physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and applied behavior analysis (ABA) services.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients
• Schedule appointments
• Answer incoming phone calls
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations
• Collect payments and process new patients
• Help the clinic maintain optimal performance

Required profile

• More than 1 year of administrative experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
• Ability to manage time and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Adaptability and a positive attitude with fluctuating workloads
• Self-motivated, eager to learn and dedicated to quality patient care

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word and Outlook
