Part-Time Operations Ambassador

About the role

Everlane is looking for a part-time Operations Ambassador in its Palo Alto retail store. The role supports the back-of-house operations of the store while also serving customers, and suits someone who enjoys systems and processes, thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to be a positive team player.

Key responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with customers through personalized service and styling that builds confidence and brand loyalty
• Share your sense of style, trend knowledge and product expertise to give excellent recommendations and fit advice
• Maintain store standards and create an inviting, customer-first environment
• Process purchases, returns and exchanges accurately to deliver seamless transactions
• Lead shipment processing and keep the stockroom organized, efficient and well managed
• Train and support team members on back-of-house standards and processes
• Keep inventory accurate through procurement, replenishment and daily walkie replenishment, and communicate sell-through concerns or inventory issues with the Store Leader
• Oversee inventory operations including transfers, cycle counts, send-outs and handling of damages, donations and returns
• Keep the stockroom clean and organized, and support visual merchandising by maintaining presentation standards and holding the team accountable

Required profile

• Passion for fashion, a great sense of personal style and an interest in a mission-driven brand
• Love of Everlane, its products and its values
• Exceptional communication skills
• Experience in retail, sales or the service industry
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum of 12 hours of availability, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Physical ability to lift, carry and move at least 40 pounds, and to stand and move around all areas of the store

What we offer

• Hourly pay ranging from $21 to $23, depending on background and experience
