Part-Time Nurse Practitioner for OTP Clinic

About the role

MedMark Treatment Centers is seeking a part‑time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) clinic in Washington, PA. The role focuses on delivering patient‑centered care for individuals undergoing methadone or buprenorphine therapy, ensuring safe medication administration and comprehensive clinical support.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in admitting patients for methadone and buprenorphine treatment.
• Obtain patient histories and conduct physical examinations.
• Document encounters in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system and enter orders for methadone dosing or write buprenorphine prescriptions.
• Authorize and supervise daily narcotic replacement therapy dispensing in the Medical Director’s absence.
• Monitor patient dosages in collaboration with the Program Physician, Treatment Center Director, counselors, and dosing nurses.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Washington.
• Ability to interact compassionately with a diverse patient population.
• Successful completion of a satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
