Part-time Maintenance Technician (Windscape Village)

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Maintenance Technician to join Greystar’s team at Windscape Village in Lompoc. The role ensures that the property’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas remain clean, safe and fully functional, supporting a high‑quality living experience for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, coordinating vendors, and completing all necessary repairs and upgrades.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document work orders, inspections and maintenance activities accurately and promptly.
• Assist with grounds and amenity upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and general cleaning.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a residential or commercial setting.
• Strong knowledge of general maintenance, preventative maintenance and the ability to manage special projects.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday on a part‑time schedule and follow established safety and quality procedures.
