About the role

Kennesaw State University’s Department of Elementary and Early Childhood Education is creating a pool of open‑rank, part‑time and limited‑term faculty for the 2025‑2026 academic year. Appointments are on an as‑needed, semester‑by‑semester basis and will be matched to the candidate’s academic credentials.

Key responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate courses in elementary and early childhood education with a focus on science education, as scheduled each semester.
  • Develop or adapt course materials to meet departmental standards.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and service activities as required.

Required profile

  • Eligibility to hold a faculty rank appropriate to academic qualifications.
  • Relevant graduate degree or equivalent credentials in education, science education, or a related field.
  • Ability to work on a part‑time, limited‑term basis within the state of Georgia.

Required skills

  • Teaching and curriculum development in elementary or early childhood education.
