About the role
The University of Maryland Eastern Shore seeks a part‑time lecturer to join its Doctor of Physical Therapy program. This position offers the opportunity to teach graduate‑level courses, supervise laboratory sessions, and contribute to the academic community.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and facilitate discussions in physical therapy specialization areas.
- Supervise laboratory activities, including cardiopulmonary, anatomy, and motion analysis labs.
- Collaborate with local clinics, hospitals, and universities on educational initiatives.
- Provide mentorship and feedback to graduate students.
Required profile
- Doctoral degree in physical therapy or a closely related field.
- Minimum five years of clinical practice experience.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred.
- Board certification and a record of scholarly activity are advantageous.
