Part-Time Leasing Consultant (20 hrs/week)

About the role

We are seeking a friendly, customer‑focused Leasing Consultant to join our team on a part‑time basis (20 hours per week). You will be the first point of contact for prospective and current residents, helping to maintain high occupancy and resident satisfaction at our community.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct telephone sales and in‑person tours to lease apartments.
• Follow up with prospects and residents to build rapport and encourage renewals.
• Coordinate move‑ins and move‑outs, ensuring a smooth experience.
• Manage lease negotiations, renewals, and resident retention activities.
• Maintain curb appeal and oversee neighborhood committee events.
• Process work order requests in Yardi and follow up on completion.
• Assist with rent collection, delinquency tracking, and reporting to management.
• Enforce community rules, handle resident relations, and support local marketing efforts.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math ability (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and solve simple problems.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lb and perform occasional standing, walking, and outdoor tasks.

Required skills

• Beginner proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using Yardi property‑management software.
