About the role
The University of Miami seeks a part‑time lecturer to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Kinesiology and Sport Science. This seasonal faculty appointment offers the opportunity to share expertise with motivated students in a vibrant academic environment.
Key responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in Kinesiology and related sport‑science subjects.
- Teach graduate courses where applicable.
- Develop and deliver course materials, including lectures, labs, and assessments.
- Provide mentorship and academic guidance to students.
Required profile
- Master’s, PhD, EdD, JD, or other approved degree with emphasis in the specific area (e.g., Exercise Physiology, Sports Medicine, Athletic Training, Sport Administration).
- Teaching and practical experience in the relevant field.
- For undergraduate instruction, a Master’s degree with appropriate approvals; for graduate instruction, a PhD or equivalent.
Required skills
- Subject‑matter expertise in Kinesiology or related sport‑science disciplines.
- Ability to design and deliver effective classroom and laboratory instruction.
