Part-Time Home Health Physical Therapist

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to provide part‑time home health services to patients in Springfield, MO and surrounding areas. You will deliver 1:1 clinical care in clients’ homes, helping them recover from injuries, illnesses, surgeries, or hospitalizations.

Key responsibilities

• Visit clients in their homes to assess mobility, range of motion, strength, balance, and safety.
• Perform diagnostic tests, develop individualized care plans, and provide manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and balance interventions.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitative care and promote independent living.
• Document all observations and interventions using a tablet‑based system.

Required profile

• Active and current Physical Therapist license.
• At least one year of clinical experience preferred; home health experience welcomed but not required.
• Ability to travel locally to assigned cases.

Required skills

• Conduct diagnostic mobility and balance assessments.
• Develop and adjust individualized physical therapy care plans.
• Provide manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and balance training.
