Part-Time Groundskeeper - Student Living Community

About the role

This part-time groundskeeper position at a Greystar student living community keeps the physical aspects of the property in good order and helps meet standards for grounds, amenities and curb appeal. The role also supports the service team members.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day, removing litter, debris and pet droppings so common areas and amenities stay neat.
• Remove trash and items from vacant apartments before make-ready, transfer trash to the dumpster or storage area, and clean and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor and routine service requests asked by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and help the make-ready specialist with the turn process.
• Change locks in line with property policy and check that pool gate access complies with codes and safety standards.
• Distribute notices and communications to residents as needed.
• Report hazards or dangerous situations to the appropriate supervisors.
• Treat residents with respect, answer questions and respond sensitively to complaints about maintenance.
• Take part in routine safety meetings, complete OSHA and other safety training, and report accidents and incidents promptly.

Required profile

• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Customer service skills and attention to detail.
