Part Time Faculty – Music (Oboe, Bassoon, Clarinet)

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Monticello seeks a part‑time adjunct faculty member to teach applied music lessons in oboe, bassoon, and clarinet. This fixed‑term position supports the Music Department’s undergraduate curriculum and offers flexible teaching assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver applied instruction on oboe, bassoon, and clarinet to undergraduate students as needed.
• Develop lesson plans, assignments, and assessments that align with departmental standards.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, and program development activities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Music or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven proficiency on oboe, bassoon, and clarinet.
• Ability to commit to a part‑time, fixed‑term schedule.
