About the role
Kennesaw State University is seeking qualified educators for part‑time, limited‑term faculty positions in the Department of English. The primary focus is teaching First‑Year Composition courses to a diverse undergraduate cohort.
Key responsibilities
- Design, deliver, and assess First‑Year Composition curriculum.
- Provide constructive feedback on student writing and support their development.
- Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, and student advising as needed.
- Maintain academic standards and contribute to a supportive learning environment.
Required profile
- Master’s degree (or higher) in English, Composition, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience teaching composition or writing‑intensive courses at the college level.
