Part-Time Direct Support Professional – Home & Community Based

About the role

Join Springbrook as a Direct Support Professional working one‑on‑one with an individual in a home and community‑based setting. You will help the participant achieve personal goals, foster independence, and enjoy meaningful community activities.

Key responsibilities

• Be a role model and advocate for the person(s) you support in all settings.
• Provide personal care tasks such as showering, restroom assistance, and other daily living supports.
• Encourage independence, support skill‑building activities, and facilitate community participation.
• Complete required billing documentation, attend team and 1:1 meetings, and follow written care plans.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive Springbrook vehicles as needed.
• Ability to lift 50 lb independently and assist with heavier loads.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work one‑on‑one with a participant.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.

What we offer

• Eligible for a prorated sign‑on bonus.
• Hourly pay: $17 for Respite care, $18 for Community Habilitation.
