Part-Time Diagnostic Medical Sonography Lab Assistant

About the role

Platt College Los Angeles is seeking a part‑time Diagnostic Medical Sonography Lab Aid to support instructional activities in its Ontario, CA campus. The lab aid will work directly with the sonography instructor and provide hands‑on assistance to students during lab sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the instructor with set‑up, operation, and clean‑up of sonography equipment.
• Provide direct support to students during laboratory exercises.
• Maintain an organized and safe lab environment.
• Offer assistance to other campus departments when no class is in session.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Graduation from a related program is preferred.
• Prior work experience related to diagnostic sonography or a similar course is advantageous.
• Strong communication and patience when interacting with students.
• Excellent organizational abilities.
