Part-Time Diagnostic Medical Sonography Lab Aid

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Diagnostic Medical Sonography Lab Aid to support instructional activities in our Anaheim campus laboratory. The role involves assisting the instructor and providing direct support to students during lab sessions. The position is ideal for individuals interested in gaining hands‑on experience in diagnostic imaging while contributing to student success.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the instructor with setup, operation, and maintenance of sonography equipment during class.
• Provide student support, answer questions, and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Help other departments with related tasks when no class is in session.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, ensure equipment is calibrated, and document usage.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Graduation from a related program is preferred.
• Prior experience in a medical or educational lab setting is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively and patiently with students.
• Strong organizational abilities.
