Part-Time Dance Instructor at Preschool/Daycare

About the role

Amazing Athletes/Hip Hop Dance is looking for a part-time dance instructor for its preschool program in Greenville and the surrounding area. Children aged 18 months to 12 years take upbeat, fun hip hop dance classes. The position is 20-25 hours per week, five days a week, working mornings and afternoons.

Key responsibilities

• Teach hip hop dance classes to children aged 18 months to 12 years
• Work mornings and afternoons, five days a week, Monday to Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; most classes are in the morning and mid-afternoon, with other hours depending on need
• Learn about the company's other programs
• Maintain good relationships with daycare teachers/directors and parents

Required profile

• Experience working with children aged 18 months to 12 years
• General knowledge of dance and/or experience coaching children
• Dependable transportation and willingness to travel around Greenville County and surrounding areas
• Clean criminal background check
• At least 18 years old
• Available to start immediately
• Must be able to work the stated hours and travel; otherwise do not apply

What we offer

• Starting pay of $20 per hour, rising to $30 per hour
• Travel time included in weekly hours
• On-the-job training
