Part-Time CNA Care Manager

About the role

Monarch Communities, a senior living operator, is hiring compassionate Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) to support daily nursing, living and personal care services in line with each resident's care plan. The position is part-time or per-diem, based in Queens, and pays $21.00 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents in all aspects of their daily life according to their care plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization and activities.
• Provide care such as bathing, dressing, toileting and feeding as outlined in the care plan.
• Maintain the safety, comfort, dignity and confidentiality of all residents.
• Escort residents to meals and activities.
• Make sure assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe and fed during their shifts.
• Document all services provided to assigned residents during the shift.
• Report any change in a resident's condition immediately to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aide.
• High school diploma.
• Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population; dementia experience preferred.
• Able to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, balance, stoop, kneel and crouch, and to lift or carry up to 50 lbs with proper body mechanics.
