Part-time Clinical Instructor (Allied Health)

About the role

The Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas seeks a part‑time Clinical Instructor to join its Allied Health team. This adjunct faculty position involves teaching nursing courses, supervising clinical experiences, and supporting student progress across campus and simulation labs.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain attendance records and report student deficiencies to the Clinical Coordinator or Director of Nursing Programs.
• Provide regular updates on student progress to program leadership.
• Uphold Student Handbook policies, program procedures, and course requirements, complying with FERPA and governing board policies.
• Deliver instruction using the established syllabus, outline, and calendar for each assigned course.
• Collaborate with faculty, evaluate student performance, and give constructive feedback.
• Coordinate and oversee clinical experiences at each site, communicating learning outcomes to facility administrators and nursing staff.
• Work with healthcare agency personnel to maximize learning opportunities for students.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Active, unencumbered Arkansas RN license.
