Part-time and Limited Term Faculty Positions in Economics

About the role

Kennesaw State University is seeking qualified candidates for a pool of part‑time and limited‑term faculty positions in the Department of Economics, Finance, and Quantitative Analysis for the 2026‑2027 academic year. Appointments are on an as‑needed, semester‑by‑semester basis and will be matched to the candidate’s credentials and the department’s teaching needs.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in economics, finance, and quantitative analysis.
• Develop and deliver course materials, syllabi, and assessments.
• Provide student support through office hours, mentoring, and academic advising.
• Participate in departmental initiatives such as the Student Managed Investment Fund, the Bagwell Center, and the Economics of Education Center.

Required profile

• Relevant graduate degree (M.A. or Ph.D.) in Economics, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate students effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
