Paralegal – Entertainment Marketing

About the role

Disney Entertainment Marketing is looking for a Paralegal to support its legal team in the global marketing and advertising of motion picture, television and streaming productions. The role involves collaborating with business units and legal professionals to ensure compliance and smooth execution of marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with drafting, proofing, and summarising legal documents, correspondence and contracts related to publicity, events, influencer collaborations, digital and product marketing.
• Review marketing content for compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Conduct document analysis, fact‑finding, verification and filing of transactional documents.
• Maintain templates, guidelines and standard operating procedures, and manage legal databases and files.
• Support due‑diligence activities and contribute to special projects as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 + year experience as a paralegal or in a related legal support role.
• Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience in a law firm, media or technology environment preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or qualifications meeting American Bar Association standards.
• Strong organizational abilities, capable of handling high‑volume work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to draft and review contract language and integrate business terms.
• Familiarity with entertainment, motion‑picture or television industry practices.
