Packing Operator

About the role

Join Nestlé Purina’s Denver pet‑food plant as a Packing Operator, running and maintaining high‑speed packing lines that produce iconic brands such as Dog Chow® and Cat Chow®. The role offers a competitive hourly wage and a pathway to other production positions after training.

Key responsibilities

• Run packing lines and cross‑train on additional lines.
• Make manual adjustments and troubleshoot machinery as needed.
• Perform changeovers for different product sizes and varieties.
• Complete preventative‑maintenance, cleaning and inspection checklists for equipment.
• Collaborate with inter‑departmental personnel to ensure smooth flow of safety, quality and production information.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience operating and troubleshooting machinery/equipment in a manufacturing, production, agricultural, military or related environment.

Required skills

• Operating machinery/equipment.
