Overnight Team Member - Night Stocking

About the role

Meijer is looking for an Overnight Team Member for its GM Night Stocking position in Hudsonville. The role keeps the store running smoothly by stocking shelves from l-carts or pallets and placing items in the correct locations, working night shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of products, including food, from l-carts or pallets using the location codes on each box.
• Pull back stock and trash to the back room and put it in the correct areas.
• Work with management to make sure the right areas are stocked in a timely fashion.
• Maintain a friendly demeanor with customers.
• Work night shifts.

Required profile

• Able to lift up to 50 lb boxes and to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Process-driven, able to follow procedures in an organized and efficient way.
• Able to stay calm in a fast-paced environment and to work consistently with customers.

Required skills

• Adequate knowledge of computer systems and comfort using them.
• Knowledge of forklift and pallet jack operation is a plus.
