About the role

The Oracle Database Technology Architect will join Infosys’ Oracle unit in Charlotte, NC, driving architecture design and implementation for enterprise Oracle solutions. The role focuses on delivering scalable, secure, and high‑performance database environments that support clients’ digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to gather and analyse system requirements for performance, security and scalability.
• Provide architectural recommendations, contribute to technology framework development, and support enterprise architecture definition.
• Evaluate market technologies and perform comparative analysis to select optimal solutions.
• Develop integration strategies and validate proof‑of‑concepts for proposed architectures.
• Ensure knowledge transfer, quality standards, and support build‑and‑deployment automation.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues during build, deployment and support phases.
• Analyse system performance of implemented architectures and identify potential risks.
• Create architectural artifacts and technical documentation to enrich the team’s knowledge repository.

Required profile

• Strong ability to analyse, design and develop scalable and secure architectures.
• Experience assessing multi‑layered enterprise environments and translating business needs into technical solutions.
