Operations Team Member

About the role

Gateway Services Inc. is seeking an Operations Team Member to join its Fond Memories Pet Crematorium in Tyler, TX. You will work closely with the Operations Care Center Manager and a dedicated team to ensure compassionate, high‑quality aftercare for pets and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the retort and related cremation equipment safely and efficiently.
• Create, engrave, and package paw prints, plaques, and other memorial items.
• Perform quality control and package cremated remains according to daily goals.
• Monitor equipment performance, make adjustments, and submit maintenance requests.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Clean and service cremation machinery, such as bone‑grinding equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols to protect against hazardous materials and dust.
• Assist with additional tasks as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 12 months of experience in a service‑oriented role.
• Passion for pets and a compassionate, patient attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety (OSHA standards).
• Ability to lift and move 100+ lb regularly and perform repetitive motions.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
