Operations Team Leader

About the role

The Operations Team Leader drives technical performance and team engagement on the production floor. Reporting to plant management, this role ensures safety, quality, service and cost targets are met while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate technicians to meet production schedules and goals.
• Lead Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Operational Excellence (OPEX) initiatives to improve OEE and reduce technical losses.
• Track, analyze and report key performance indicators (KPIs), inventory variances and yield differences.
• Provide real‑time coaching, technical training and development for team members.
• Collaborate with other supervisors and facility leaders to ensure seamless workflow across departments.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising production or manufacturing teams.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Ability to interpret data, generate performance reports and drive process improvements.
• Effective communication skills for coaching and cross‑functional coordination.
