Operations Manager

About the role

J Bell Services is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day office functions at its People Solutions Center in Dallas, Texas. The role combines people leadership, customer service, and process improvement to support the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor scheduling capacity and revenue opportunities, recover cancellations, and follow up on leads and estimates.
• Lead, coach and develop customer service representatives, dispatchers and other office staff, setting daily priorities and delegating tasks.
• Maintain a positive, accountable work environment through regular one‑on‑ones, performance conversations and recognition.
• Handle HR administration including weekly payroll, time‑card review, PTO tracking, onboarding/off‑boarding and policy communication.
• Support employee coaching, corrective actions and performance‑improvement processes as needed.
• Identify and implement improvements to office systems, workflows and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of administrative or operations management experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple locations or regional teams.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.
• Sound judgment, problem‑solving ability and capacity for independent decision‑making.
• Professionalism and discretion handling confidential information.

• Proficiency with standard business and office technology systems.
