Operations Engineering Internship

About the role

This internship offers hands‑on experience in operations engineering at a leading food manufacturing plant. You will work alongside technicians and engineers to identify improvement opportunities, manage projects, and communicate results.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with manufacturing technicians on the plant floor to develop process improvement ideas and understand production processes.
• Coordinate activities of contractors, hourly technicians, and other resources.
• Prepare standard reports and documentation to communicate findings.
• Manage projects from scope definition through implementation, commissioning, and verification.
• Collect, analyze, and use data to drive improvements while interfacing with salaried employees and technicians.

Required profile

• Rising junior or senior pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Willingness to work in both office and plant environments and follow safety procedures.
