Operations Associate – Part‑Time (West LA)

About the role

As an Operations Associate you will ensure the smooth performance of autonomous delivery robots in the West LA area. You will provide hands‑on support in the field, perform light maintenance, and help keep deliveries on schedule while documenting incidents for continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain field readiness by supporting robots, responding quickly to issues and ensuring order fulfillment.
• Assist in robot deployment, including preparation, inspection, cleaning and placement of units.
• Track, document and close escalation tickets, providing clear updates and supporting documentation.
• Operate company vehicles safely to move, recover or reposition robotic units as needed.
• Perform end‑of‑shift recovery: secure, charge, sanitize and account for all robotic assets and equipment.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate mid‑size utility vehicles.
• Capacity to lift and maneuver items up to 50 lb and walk/bike several miles per day.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Experience (1 year) in last‑mile delivery, robotics or customer‑facing field roles preferred.
• Compliance with safety protocols, PPE rules and ability to work in various weather conditions.
