Operations Associate

About the role

Serve Robotics is looking for an Operations Associate to keep its autonomous delivery robots running smoothly in the field. You will provide hands‑on support, perform light maintenance, and ensure deliveries are completed safely and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Assist robots on‑site by navigating obstacles, performing sensor cleaning, and handling technical issues.
• Support deployment processes, including robot preparation, inspection, cleaning, and placement.
• Track, document, and close escalation tickets while maintaining clear communication with operations, engineering, and customer support teams.
• Operate company vehicles safely to move, recover, or reposition robotic units as needed.
• Secure, charge, sanitize, and account for all robotic assets at the end of each shift.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate mid‑size utility vehicles.
• Capability to lift and maneuver items up to 50 lb.
• Professional customer‑facing demeanor.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Compliance with safety protocols, PPE requirements, and ability to work in various weather conditions.

Required skills

• Experience using Jira for ticket tracking.
• Familiarity with Slack or similar work communication tools.
