About the role
The College of Nursing at Texas A&M University seeks two outstanding faculty members for full‑time tenure‑track or tenured appointments. Appointments begin in August 2026 and support both undergraduate and graduate nursing programs across multiple campuses.
Key responsibilities
- Teach courses in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing, and clinical doctoral programs.
- Develop and deliver curriculum for specialty tracks such as Family Nurse Practitioner, Nursing Education, Forensic Nursing, and emerging programs.
- Mentor graduate and post‑graduate students, including those in certificate programs.
- Maintain an active research agenda, seek extramural funding, and contribute to scholarly publications.
- Participate in service activities that advance the College’s mission and address health disparities.
Required profile
- Doctorate in Nursing (PhD or DNP) or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in academic nursing education and scholarship.
- Evidence of potential for or a record of extramurally funded research.
- Commitment to teaching excellence, mentorship, and service to underserved populations.
