About the role

The College of Information at the University of Maryland, College Park seeks full‑time, professional‑track lecturers who are passionate about teaching, innovative pedagogy, and supporting a diverse, multidisciplinary student body.

Key responsibilities

• Teach three courses per semester (fall and spring) across undergraduate and graduate programs.
• Develop and deliver hands‑on, lab‑based instruction in areas such as networking, IoT, information design, cybersecurity, and computing.
• Supervise internships, capstone projects, and client‑based collaborations.
• Create inclusive learning environments and apply evidence‑based teaching methods.
• Contribute to curriculum design and interdisciplinary learning experiences.
