On‑site English Instructor

About the role

Berlitz is seeking a part‑time English Instructor to deliver high‑quality language instruction at its Elkridge Learning Center and other designated locations. The role involves teaching both private and group classes, supporting student progress, and upholding Berlitz’s standards of excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lessons following Berlitz teaching principles, focusing on student goals and needs.
• Conduct level assessments and needs analyses as assigned.
• Teach private and group classes at the Learning Center, off‑site locations, or virtually.
• Maintain up‑to‑date pedagogical and attendance records for each student.
• Participate in regular coaching sessions with the Academic Specialist to evaluate lessons and set SMART goals.
• Complete required training and professional‑development modules on the @Berlitz Learning platform.

Required profile

• Passion for language instruction and commitment to high‑quality teaching.
• Ability to work under the direction of the Service Delivery Manager and Academic Specialist.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support diverse learners.
• Flexibility to teach both private and group sessions, on‑site or virtually.
