Online Instructor for Healthcare Systems Leadership (DNP)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced nursing professional to teach the online DNP course “Topics in Healthcare Systems Leadership I.” The position is 100% remote and part‑time, allowing you to share your industry expertise with doctoral students while maintaining flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver an approved Covista syllabus aligned with campus templates and course objectives.
• Organize, prepare, and regularly update all course materials, including readings, assignments, and discussion prompts.
• Utilize online technologies and course‑related software (websites, email, discussion boards) to create an engaging learning environment.
• Model effective oral and written communication, set clear expectations, and provide timely feedback to students.

Required profile

• Current or former senior‑level nursing leader with extensive experience in healthcare systems.
• Strong professional standards, excellent communication skills, and enthusiasm for practitioner‑focused education.
• Passion for nursing education and commitment to student success.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Covista learning management system.
