On‑Call Registered Nurse – Emergency Night Visits

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for on‑call emergency night home health visits across Ocean County, NJ. The role works a rotating schedule, on‑call from 5 pm to 8:30 am one week on, one week off, providing essential care to adult and geriatric clients.

Key responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients after business hours, weekends and evenings.
• Administer medication, perform wound care, treatments, procedures and comfort care.
• Monitor client conditions and report changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager.
• Execute and document doctors' orders and conduct client assessments as needed.

Required profile

• Current NJ Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum one year of recent clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Prior home care experience strongly preferred (not required).
• Ability to travel to assigned cases.

Required skills

• Solid computer skills.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
