On-Call Registered Nurse – Home Health

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an On-Call Registered Nurse to provide home health visits across Fairfax and Prince William Counties. The role covers after‑hours and weekend shifts on a 7‑on, 7‑off rotation, offering flexible scheduling and one‑to‑one patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Follow designated care plans and perform home visits in assigned territories.
• Administer medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures as ordered.
• Monitor client conditions, report changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager, and document all observations using a tablet.
• Execute doctors' orders, conduct client assessments, and coordinate case management.

Required profile

• Current Virginia RN license.
• At least one year of recent clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel to client locations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and solid computer proficiency.

Required skills

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Proficiency using tablet‑based documentation tools.
