About the role

The OMM Chair / OMM Open Rank Faculty position is a full‑time, on‑site appointment at PCOM South Georgia in Moultrie, GA. The incumbent will lead classroom and laboratory instruction in osteopathic principles and osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM) for medical and graduate students.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, labs, and clinical demonstrations in OMM and osteopathic principles.
• Develop, coordinate, and continuously improve OMM‑related curricula.
• Assess learner performance and provide academic advising and mentorship.
• Engage in scholarly activities, research, and quality‑improvement projects related to OMM.
• Collaborate with campus and system leadership on strategic planning for the department.
• Participate in institutional and community service, including potential clinical care activities.

Required profile

• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree with eligibility for licensure.
• Demonstrated expertise in osteopathic principles and extensive experience in OMM.
• Strong background in teaching, curriculum development, and learner assessment in medical education.
• Effective leadership, communication, and collaborative skills.
• Commitment to inclusive, learner‑centered education and serving South Georgia’s healthcare needs.
