About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join the Mercy Hospital outpatient team in Carrollton. This full‑time position focuses on pediatric patients, with occasional adult caseload, providing therapy that promotes independence and functional recovery.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients with physical, emotional, cognitive, and psychosocial deficits affecting independent living skills.
  • Design, implement, and modify individualized plans of care, documenting progress and outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families about deficits, adaptive equipment, and discharge planning.
  • Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians in accordance with licensing regulations.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree from an AOTA‑accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Current Ohio licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Open to new graduates and candidates with clinical experience.

Required skills

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ohio OT licensure.
