About the role
The OBGYN Manager oversees daily operations of an ambulatory obstetrics and gynecology practice, supervising professional and support staff to ensure efficient patient care and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise, schedule, and delegate duties for office professionals and support staff.
- Participate in hiring, orientation, and training of new staff.
- Maintain office flow, facility upkeep, and medical/clerical supplies.
- Manage physician relations, credentialing contracts, and managed‑care referrals.
- Verify and adjudicate expense and patient billing records.
- Develop and monitor the office financial budget and records.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct performance appraisals and enforce HR policies.
- Monitor patient satisfaction scores and address concerns.
Required profile
- Minimum High School diploma; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- At least five years of physician office management or supervisory experience.
- Registered Nurse license preferred.
