Optum is hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Los Angeles, California, as part of its Optum Care Delivery team. The clinicians sought focus on patient care rather than volume, taking the time needed to address each patient's needs. The position offers M-F hours from 8am to 5pm.

Key responsibilities

• Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment.
• Manage an average patient volume of 18-20 patients.
• Care for patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatric.

Required profile

• Unrestricted California license; a CA DEA certificate is required before the start date.
• Certificate of completion from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• EMR proficiency.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
