Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Family Medicine

About the role

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our family‑medicine team in Palestine, Texas. The role involves delivering comprehensive, patient‑centered care to both pediatric and adult populations in an outpatient setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for pediatric and adult patients in an outpatient clinic.
• Evaluate and manage acute illnesses, chronic disease conditions, and preventive care needs.
• Conduct physical exams, wellness visits, and routine screenings.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic studies.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and overall wellness.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to ensure coordinated patient care.

Required profile

• Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• National certification (AANP, ANCC, PNCB, or NCCPA).
• Previous experience in pediatrics, internal medicine, family medicine, or primary care preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage patients across varying age groups.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
