Nurse Manager – Chemotherapy Infusion Unit

About the role

The University of Miami Health System (UHealth) at Doral is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead the Chemotherapy Infusion Unit. This role oversees both clinical and clerical staff, ensuring high‑quality patient care and efficient operation of the infusion center.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise clinical and clerical staff, monitoring competency and compliance with policies.
• Coordinate medical records, human resources, facility maintenance, inventory, and supply management.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase unit utilization.
• Facilitate patient referrals and streamline access to needed medical care.
• Maintain physician master schedules in UChart and act as liaison with external contractors and vendors.
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding patient care and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist physicians with specialized nursing procedures as required.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a BSN.
• Valid Florida Registered Nurse license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant nursing or management experience.
