Nurse Educator, RN (Hybrid) - Patient Engagement Program

About the role

iQVIA is recruiting Nurse Educators for its Patient Engagement Center of Excellence program, which provides patient-focused education to people living with chronic diseases who have been prescribed specific medications. Nurse Educators give one-on-one education by telephone, video, email and SMS, following program guidelines, and do not provide medical advice or work clinically. The role is hybrid: three days per week in an office in the Raleigh area, NC, with less than 20% travel.

Key responsibilities

• Connect patients with program-approved, patient-based resources
• Train patients on specific disease states and medication administration as prescribed by their healthcare professional
• Foster dialogue between patients and their healthcare providers and support treatment decisions
• Provide product-related training as outlined in program guidelines
• Perform any additional duties assigned by program management

Required profile

• Active RN license in the primary state of residence and in North Carolina; compact multi-state license preferred or willingness to obtain one
• Willingness to obtain a California nursing license upon start date
• Flexible schedule covering multiple shifts (8am-5pm, 9:30am-6:30pm, 11am-8pm) and ability to cover weekends and evenings
• Ability to support patients in Mountain or Pacific time zones as assigned
• Valid driver's license; driving required
• Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship; no visa sponsorship available
• Preferred: 3+ years of clinical experience and experience in a virtual or call center environment

What we offer

• Base pay range of $70,000 - $75,000 annually, depending on qualifications, location and schedule
• Bonus eligibility
