About the role
The School of Medicine – Department of Orthopaedic Surgery seeks a motivated Nurse Clinician to join a fast‑paced, high‑productivity team. You will support clinical, research, and teaching activities across multiple locations in Missouri, contributing to the department’s mission of advancing orthopaedic care.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, medical information, and emotional support to patients and families.
- Assist clinicians during scheduled clinics, special clinics, and surgical cases, supervising patient flow and handling scheduling decisions.
- Coordinate surgery logistics, including equipment setup with operative staff and vendors.
- Collaborate with ancillary services and healthcare professionals to ensure high‑quality patient care.
- Support physician research and teaching initiatives by liaising with various teams and departments.
