Nurse Assistant – Assisted Living Care

About the role

Join BAYADA’s Assistive Care team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) providing one‑on‑one support to adults in an assisted living facility near Matthews. You will help clients with daily activities while receiving training, flexible scheduling, and a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
• Provide household support including light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
• Prepare meals, feed clients, and support range‑of‑motion exercises.
• Help with ambulation, transfers, and use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Offer medication reminders and perform basic vital sign checks.

Required profile

• At least one year of work experience.
• Completed a recognized CNA training program and hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• Demonstrated empathy, patience, and a passion for caregiving.
• Ability to travel to client homes as assigned.
