North America Finance Manager

About the role

Western Union is seeking a senior finance leader to drive execution of the corporate operating plan across North America. In this role you will partner with executive management, provide deep business analysis, and influence strategic decisions with insightful financial intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business trends, risks and opportunities to produce executive insight reports with actionable recommendations.
• Prepare and deliver board‑level presentations that translate complex financial data into clear strategic insights.
• Oversee forecasting of the Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow, including constant‑currency and inflation impact analysis.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models for long‑range planning, scenario analysis and risk assessment.
• Provide governance and structure for FP&A and CFO teams, standardizing reporting and planning processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and support scalable growth.
• Manage month‑end close, executive reporting packages and support 10‑Q/10‑K filings.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate a team of finance professionals.
• Contribute to enterprise‑wide initiatives and cross‑functional CFO projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 7 + years of progressive experience in FP&A, forecasting or corporate finance with prior leadership responsibility.
• Proven ability to build financial models, forecast and produce executive‑level reports in a complex environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the capacity to synthesize large data sets into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey financial concepts to non‑financial stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success building productive relationships with executive leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, meet tight deadlines and deliver high‑quality outcomes.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis; no visa sponsorship provided.
